Winter seems to be finally over, and we haven't had any snow on the ground in Toronto for a few weeks now, but I thought I'd post one more back-alley painting that I did over the winter-time. I went for a walk in the early evening today, just to get out of the studio a bit, and I definitely got that "spring is coming" feeling in the air.

i like your blog. it makes me feel bad about my own work. which is good!
Are these back alley paintings collected in a book? Or will you be collecting them? Or will you make prints? Can you tell I like them?
Yeah Michael, you definitely need to put together a book of these. They are awesomeness incarnate.
Jeannette: thanks...I think! Though, I checked out your work and your comics are hilarious. I really liked the recent one about the long road trip with your ex...achingly funny.
Joel: thanks Joel -- yeah, as I might have mentioned in previous posts, plans are afoot to collect all the alley drawings into a book. I just have to get it in gear and finish up the rest of the drawings. I'm about half-way complete the proposed number of pictures for the book. I'll post more info on it as I get closer to finishing it.
Jason: thanks, Jason. Nice to hear from you again, dude!
Love the giant dish. Great to see the alley in Winter.
I really love this series.
Rob: thanks, Rob. Glad you still recognize all the spots in Toronto.
Melsky: thank you!
