Love it - great design, here! look at all that balance.
Awesome, as always. Actually... this one is a little extra awesome.
Beautiful work! I always look forward to your blog posts :)
common theme, maybe! but she looks pissed, which is a nice touch. I am pleased!i want to draw some spacesuit donning people soon...
You say that like it's a bad thing. I love drawing girls in tight spacesuits! This is a nice one.
very nice, michael!
Beautiful work. Very elegant.
azing!you are my favorito!me encanta!
because space girls are RADvery cool love it
Kyle: thanks, Kyle. I think if I were to crop it now, I'd cut an inch off the left side, then it would be more balanced, I think. Zack: thanks, Zack.Ineffable3: thanks - hope you don't mind the long wait between posts sometimes :)Meg: She is kinda pissed looking, isn't she? I tend to draw my astrogirls as "tough and capable" and not bouncy and bubbly. You totally should draw some space-people! I'd love to see what you'd do in your style. Jason: lol -- not a bad thing at all. I was just pointing out how unoriginal my idea was :)Mike: thanks, Mike. Love your recent work, btw.Tim Baron: thanks, Tim. Much appreciated.SHK: aww, thanks -- your stuff is pretty awesome!Damon: thanks, Damon -- glad you liked it!
Like everyone else, I loves me the spacegirls!I have to save up for a copy of the Weird Science Tales anthology.
could you sometimes mention how long it takes to do your artwork? it looks simple but i think you take longer than it looks.
Thanks, Arkonbey.Leland, actually I've often posted on other entries approx. how long something took to do.
Love this drawing! Babes in space gear are always a kick! I love your style of removing the "outline" and building form only with "edges". Works especially well here! The retro look of this one kind of reminds me of an old Japanese movie serial series from the 50's called "Starman".
That is AWESOME Mike!!!I am ashamed that I only saw it today...-matt
