All right, spill. Name names. I wanna know what CDs you're listening to that inspire these images.
This is a scene from a Zombie movie. The guy hits station after station in that state of barely paying attention-ness one gets into while riding a train. Then he realizes no has been on or off the train for the last few stops. Behind him, outside the window the veiwer sees the head of someone shuffling along the fence. This person steps into view and we can't make out anything really except that the guy looks wasted...as the train pulls away. It's the beginning of a wicked zombie movie filmed on location in Ontario. "The Ghoul Train: Next Stop Undeadsville" j.
Brian: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, the new Cat Power CD, Robert Johnson, the Carter Family. BTW, this is the one and only time I'll ever post what I'm listening to. I hate being one of those guys who post lists of their "hot tunes" -- as if the world actually cares!J.: You need to stop sniffing your white-out pens...
BTW, this is the one and only time I'll ever post what I'm listening to. I hate being one of those guys who post lists of their "hot tunes" -- as if the world actually cares!Note to self: Don't mention what I'm listening to on my blog. Nobody cares.Instead, I'll post it on your blog! Just have to say that some of my posts from a couple weeks ago (dark atmospheric stuff) were done while listening to hours of Nick Cave. Also, the new Cat Power is sweet.I only ask the music question because I'm always looking for recommendations. How's this one: read any good books lately?
Aw geez, Brian. I didn't offend you or anything did I? I only meant that I didn't want anyone to presume that I thought my own musical tastes were in any way important or intelligent enough to share with the world......given that, we seem to have similar tastes in music! I kinda got a cool/weird "mardi-gras in hell" vibe from some of the drawings you mentioned on your blog which, now that I think about it, really fits Nick Cave.As for books...don't you know it's 2006, d00d? No-one READS anymore...
Aw geez, Brian. I didn't offend you or anything did I?Damn my aversion to emoticons! If only I'd :) or ;)! Sarcasm can be so hard to get across in type. Of course you didn't offend. :)
