Wow Mike, that's fantastic. Superb lighting and a great alley as always. I still look back at the series did a couple years ago for reference occasionally.
Gorgeous sense of lighting and place. Extremely evocative. Really love it.
yeah man... you really captured a mood with this one....loved the X-man fist class as well....hope to see more of your work in print to where i can hold it in my hands like the x-men and Sentry.
Doc shaner: thanks, buddy. I'm glad you liked the previous drawings enough to remember them. I'm still working on new ones in the series.Eric: thanks, Eric. you're a fellow torontonian, aren't you? theDave: thanks, dude. I'm still working on stuff for print -- in between taking care of the new baby and juggling illustration assignments.
Wow - gorgeous! Nice to see this addition to the series. Very nice! And If I didn't mention is before - congrats! I hope fatherhood is treating you well!
I'm in Halifax right now but my wife is going to UofT next year so we'll be relocating to Etobicoke, which is where she's from. I'm looking forward to it. I love Toronto. You'll have to tell me where to buy the best art supplies etc.
Beautiful work, I love the simple, free, undefined use of color. Makes for great ambience.
Dave: Thanks for the congratulations, Dave. Fatherhood is indeed treating me well, though the learning curve is STEEP. Hope you and your family are keeping well.Tim: thanks, Tim. Glad you liked it.Claudio: thanks, Claudio.
